We are amazed at how many people rush out of Lower Sabie each morning heading in all directions but very few stop off at Sunset Dam. Maybe it's the name 'sunset' dam so people think they must come here only at the end of the day for sundowners yet we have seen so much from when the sun rises - from lions to croc kills and fish eagles and yellowbilled storks catching fish. And the animals are so close you don't need a long lens.

Due to the rain on the 12th March we spent the day at Sunset dam water edge. In all the years that we have visited the Kruger, Sunset dam has never been a disappointment.
Comments for Sunset dam never disappoints.

"It's 768 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information.
