Nigeria Animal

by Kevin Gross
(Atlanta, GA, USA)

We were working North of Port Harcourt Nigeria when someone came out of the bush with these animals. Unfortunately of the way things are in Nigeria he had killed them for food. When asked what type of animals they were he had no idea.

We asked several people as to what they were and nobody was able identify them.

Was wondering if you could help.

Thanks

Hi, what a shame to see animals treated like that.

They look like Giant Forest Genet's, but I stand to be corrected.
These animals are endangered in Nigeria.

Hope this helps
