Mom sees Springbok
On our last trip to the Kalahari we were fortunate in being able to see several cheetah. In a previous post I mentioned that Sherry and I photographed a mom with two cubs on several occasions. On one of those occasions mom made a try for a couple of springbok. While she was unsuccessful the sight of her trying was awesome. we've seen on TV cheetah chasing game animals, but to be only about 30 meters from the action was awesome. I was concentrating on the springbok while sherry was on the cat. Her photos are the better, but sometimes you guess wrong. I've included two photos of the cheetah and two of the springbok. As an aside the springbok gets away and the cubs while observing did not participate.
