The lodge allows a group of up to 12 guests to enjoy a complete private bushveld and game viewing experience.
The bungalows, kitchen, lounge, dining area and lapa are all built on stilts, with concrete walkways connecting the bungalows to the communal area...
Boulders Bush Lodge has solar power energy and is serviced daily by friendly and efficient camp attendants.
The extensive dining room and lounge area is served by a long bar counter, fully-equipped kitchen, separate toilets, store rooms and scullery.
The braai area is set into large boulders and is not fenced, we have had many lovely evenings here.
We sometimes braai in the front so that we could keep an eye on the waterhole.

"...the majority of images are really impressive, each chosen for a practical reason, sometimes annotated to stress a point. - Craig Rix, Editor,Travel Africa Magazine, UK |
There are five bungalows in total - The fifth bungalow at the end of the walkway is a family unit which sleeps 4 people in 2 en-suite bedrooms, the other four bungalows each have one en-suite bedroom. The rooms are very spacious...
The viewing deck and the front four bungalows have a nice view of the mopane veld plains and the private waterhole...
The waterhole provides some good photographic opportunities. We have had some great sightings both during the day and at night at the waterhole.
The area is good for buffalo, elephant, giraffe, hyena, lion, leopard and the bird life is superb.

"It's 764 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information. It takes quite a lot to impress me but I really feel that this book, which was 7 years in the making, is exceptional." - Janey Coetzee, South Africa
